"Lāči" starts to produce chocolate sweets

LTD “Lāči” will produce four types of sweets selection made of natural chocolate, which shall be purchased from Belgium. The sweets will have different fillings, for instance, with rye-bread and marzipan. The company has invested over 30 000 euros into business expansion, but according to the management of the company in coming years a considerable emphasis will be put towards production of chocolate products both on local and export markets. The new chocolate products will be available for purchase in stores already in the coming months. The company "Lāči" was established in 1993 in Babītes civil parish, the equity thereof comprises 676 000 lats. The bakery mainly offers bread products in the highest price group. The best know products are "Real rye-bread", "Real fine rye-bread", "Carrot bread", fruit breads, walnut bread and form cakes, as well as cookies and cakes.
